During the Christmas holidays, my family and I decided to get away from it all. This was my first time in New York and I wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. As you can see from the image above, the skating rink is pretty small and crowded. I have been rollerskating since I was a child, but ice skating seemed more complicated. I kept deciphering whether I should ice skate or not. I put on a pair of ice skates and paraded through the center of the rink. It was funny and embarrassing. My feet kept twisting from side to side. Meanwhile, my parents took pictures of my brother and me in front of the skating rink. It was an awesome experience and I can't wait to go back to Rockefeller Center again.
